JACKSON, MISS. – Anticipating a launch date of December 1, 2019, the Mississippi Lottery Corporation (MLC) announced today employment opportunities with the MLC.
“We are looking for hard-working Mississippians who want to be involved in a fast-paced work environment,” said Tom Shaheen, MLC president. “This is an exciting time for the State. We are starting the MLC from the ground up and are looking to fill a variety of positions.”

The Mississippi Lottery Corporation (MLC) was created in 2018 upon passage of the Alyce G. Clarke Mississippi Lottery Law, Senate Bill 2001. Governor Phil Bryant appointed the five-member Board of Directors on October 19, 2018, with the goal of having the first lottery tickets on sale during the fourth quarter of 2019.
